IAJSSMR, the Indo-Asian Journal of Social Science and Management Research follows double blinding review procedure. IAJSSMR has a strict double-anonymize reviewing policy, whereby the reviewer's and author's identities remain confidential to either party. While it is the reviewer's prerogative to disclose their identity to the author in their review, it is our general policy practice to keep their names anonymous. Our goal at IAJSSMR is to provide your manuscript with rapid, high-quality peer review
Periodically, the Editor or members of the Editorial Board may submit their own works to be considered for publication in IAJSSMR. In these situations, an alternate Board member will oversee the peer review procedure; the submitting Editor or Board member will not participate in the decision-making process.
Peer review is "a procedure where scientists ("peers") evaluate the quality of other scientists' work. This ensures that the work is rigorous, cohesive, draws on previous research, and adds to what we already know. This quote is from an explainer on The Conversation (which opens in a new tab).
Peer review helps academic research reach publication in the following ways:
Evaluation - Peer review research assists publications in selecting the highest quality papers. Peer review ensures the integrity of both the publication process and the scholarly record.
Quality - The filtering process and revision guidance provided by verified academic professionals increases the final article's quality while also providing new insights into the author's study.
In our journals, we use double-anonymization, which means that names are hidden from reviewers and writers.
Peer review is critical for weeding out low-quality articles by evaluating the validity and integrity of the study. We value the work of peer reviewers in the academic community, who help to streamline the publication process and drive research in their areas of expertise. Please visit the Reviewer Rewards page to learn more about the discounts and free journal access available to Sage journal article reviewers.
If you are an inexperienced or first-time reviewer, the peer review process may appear intimidating. In reality, peer review may be a really fulfilling process that allows you to help shape your area while also honing your own research and writing skills. The materials listed below will clarify what peer review entails and help you create effective reviews.
